Welcome to the online resource
for Puget
Sounders by Puget Sounders!
Whether you're a lifelong resident or you're planning to relocate
here, this site exists to help you find housing, employment, home services,
entertainment, professional services, and everything else you need in the Puget Sound area.
"The Sound," as the natives refer to it, is our extensive watery
network of inlets, rivers, waterways, canals, and miscellaneous sea passages
swirling down from the sea around Vancouver Island and past the San Juan
Islands. Washington state is
vertically divided by the Cascade Mountain
range, making it seem more like two states than one. Puget Sound is the
most populated area of
Western Washington. The Washington coast is only a short 2.5-hour drive
from Seattle.
As we see it, Puget Sound loosely comprises the entire area around Seattle, Everett, Bellevue,
Mercer Island, Tacoma, and
Olympia (the Washington state capital).
There are lots of Seattle guides. We want this one to also be a resource to the entire Puget
Sound and beyond.
Of course it's an ambitious project, considering the size of the
Puget Sound region, but we are counting on our fellow Puget Sounders
themselves to help us keep
adding to
this site and let us know when a link needs updating.
Please help us make PugetSounders.com a great place to
find the local info you need. Spread the word!
